Suddenly, when it becomes personal, folks who know become keenly aware of what awaits them.
They have heard all the horror stories of the poor and homeless.
Terrified of what certainly now awaits them, they let their collective voices be heard with a huge loud roar.
Unfortunately, the very population in which they serve year after year have no such voice and their cries go unheard.
Why don't you go on strike for all the homeless camp sweeps and police taking their necessary survival possessions?
Why don't you go on strike for the hundreds and hundreds of our local homeless driven deeper into the brush for another brutal excruciatingly hot summer?
Why don't you go on strike for the homeless suffering senior citizens and disabled handicapped given a few extra days out in the rain to get out of the Masonic camps with nowhere else to go?
Why don't you go on strike for the fire death trap known as the Mercy Canyon homeless camps where women are raped, and men are murdered?
Why don't you go out into the bushes of the newly cleaned out Masonic area and pick out a future camp spot for you and your family?
