Love Challenge to Redding Police, Bethel Church School and Ministry AFTERMATH

Oh how money talks in this day and age, and who and what we are able to spiritually overlook turning our collective backs in pursuit of it is just astounding.

Never before has the concept of the separation of church and state came more into focus
as what appears to be a complete and total take over of our community by the mega force
and church known as Bethel.

Outrage from community members at the growing Parkview homeless camp, the Redding community watched as the city of Redding with its Bethel heavy mayor Julie Winter crafted and "strengthened" the decree that directly opposes the wishes and desires of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Being homeless in Redding California is now essentially a crime

Not only that during a wicked snow storm the Parkview homeless tent camp was devastated.

Imagine a thin piece of plastic or tent between you and 8 inches of snow as you spent
the long hours of the night sleeping ... suffering...

As early morning photos and videos were taken one woman was seen in tears, her face pink from frost bite as another man went from tent to tent telling folks to take refuge under the cypress street bridge.

Homeless reported the next day a fellow Shasta county homeless veteran was found dead from the cold "hugging a trash can."

Another disabled handicapped man known as Rick stuck in his electric wheelchair in the snow desperately needing help.

911 authorities were called to no avail, homeless report.

And although the Parkview homeless tent camp was destroyed by the Redding police we see now the intent and purposes of a Bethel takeover of our city, and people are watching.

Make no mistake, Redding crossed a spiritual line that day...

Through all this suffering and pain homeless also report the goodness of the community especially the christian group who came down reportedly to the Parkview homeless camp and spent hours digging Rick and his wheelchair out of the snow and created a path to safety.

Or the countless other folks including a group from Bethel who would bring coffee and donuts to the site.

Others would bring food or other survival necessities, Jeffry England and Trinity County Food Assistance Program donated even dog food, showing the love of the Christian believer and non believer alike.

Who can forget the brave souls who had the courage to speak out at several Redding city council meetings against the barbaric anti camping ordinance.

Or RV Scheide and A NewsCafe compassionately rising above others to give facts
and humanize homeless in a true light that has become a rare desire in a dehumanizing world.

A Love challenge was focused on Redding City, Police, and Bethel Church leaders all failed miserably and I believe did everything humanly possibly to stop anybody else loving them as well, also failing miserably.

Through all of the local diabolic triangulation of City of Redding controlled local news media,

Through all the vicious weather and freezing cold temperatures,

Through all of your years of cruel and unusual punishment,

Through all of the suffering, the homeless now know they are loved.

Love Challenge complete...  And for those who witnessed it was Magnificent.

A LOVE CHALLENGE to Redding POLICE, BETHEL CHURCH SCHOOL and MINISTRY !

Bill Johnson Senior Pastor Bethel Church

2/19/19 - CHALLENGE FAILED

Parkview homeless tent city after suffering through a devastating snow storm was destroyed by Redding police and volunteers from Shasta Support Services. Homeless report day after snow storm a homeless veteran was found dead from elements "hugging a trash can."

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?  Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.  A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit  Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire  Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

Matthew7: 15-20

Redding Homeless Coalition - Why We Fight

The cold  razor sharp sobering reality of street life as a homeless individual is frightening.
I shudder thinking or mentally walking in their shoes , but to be sure nothing I phantom compares to their day after day reality.

Many ask me with a blank stare as I walk through their reality, "Who is fighting for us?

Walk a little deeper, love them a little more and soon the layers peel back and you discover Redding's rejected humanity pushed to the edge of the Sacramento river spiritually is like the Hebrews of the biblical exodus with their backs to the red sea.

Time for the Parkview tent camp is running out, What will God do ?

Veterans make up a surprisingly large number of Redding's homeless population. Unfortunately so many of them were exposed to an enemy far more insidious that followed so many of them home.

Can I say it without compromising the dignity and privacy of one example of many in Redding and Shasta County?

Agent orange .... Insidious... Back up against the river by a city that wants to make your remaining days miserable, Unacceptable.

Have I said it without saying it?

So if you can, please stop by Reddings Parkview tent camp and ask for Richard. Love offerings of food and other comforts would be greatly appreciated.

Why we fight ?  Just look for the homeless combat Veterans tent with the American flag...
