Oh those so-called Cottonwood Patriots...
When it comes to the constitution, you would think it was written by the very finger of God Himself.
Yet when it comes to the red, white and blue community of Cottonwood California, home of Militia commanders and members alike, it does not seem to apply to homeless folks.
Talking to various downtown Cottonwood merchants over the years, they tell me there is a list of men they call on any unfortunate homeless seen wandering in the community, to be unceremoniously driven out of town, including homeless veterans,
Imaging if "open carry" were granted to these Militia people...
Of course, homeless people do have civil and constitutional rights and the homeless population has a certain number of homeless veterans, both these facts they love to turn their back on.
Perhaps somebody should educate District 5 Shasta County Supervisor Chris Kelstrom, who's area covers Cottonwood, of the absolute hypocrisy displayed in his district, as well as the continued violation of homeless civil and constitutional rights.
