Jail Homeless - Redding Separation of Church and Hate

"So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’  He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them."

Who could ever have imagined it?

Never before has the prosperity gospel, which contains no wealth at all, would rear its ugly spiritual head in such a fashion from north state political leadership, causing a global international awakening?

And Redding California is ground zero...

Is it possible that in the mind of Redding California mayor and Bethel church leader Julie Winter that to many her plan is illegal, immoral, and down right diabolical?

"Winter drafted a letter to Gov. Gavin Newsom asking that he declare a state of emergency in Redding because of homelessness. The declaration could free up state funds that are typically reserved for natural disasters such as wildfires. Winter says there are about 3,000 homeless people in Shasta County."

Perhaps we can better understand Mayor Julie Winter through a video.

Take a closer look at the world wide phenomena known as Bethel church, school, and supernatural ministry  and ask yourself would you want what many call a cult in your town or city ?

BILL JOHNSON, BETHEL the NEW AGE - Shocking - Kundalini Warning - False spirits - Andrew Strom

“You need to get clean, you need to get sober, you need to demonstrate self-sufficiency. And once you do that, you’re free to go," said Redding Mayor Julie Winter.

Oh it gets even more frightening...

"In the letter, Winter requests Newsom allow Redding to take conservatorship of homeless people’s finances if they’re deemed mentally unfit to manage their lives."

One key element that the prosperity gospel leaves out is much of Gods Word, and it seems in the minds and spirit of Mayor Winter and those that attend Bethel it does not matter

"Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?  But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts?  Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called?"

Something tantamount to a middle ages debtors prison to go with the medieval plagues that are surfacing as well Mayor Winter?

Is this part of Jesus Christ great commission ? Just who do you "fish" for ? Are you welcoming light of the Christian faith ? Set in the window for all to see? Can you fish with a hammer?

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."

Even more so is God doing something big in Redding through Bethel Church ?

Oh yes, but will the outcome be what those that attend Bethel church expect?

And will it be forgiven of them for driving those already hurt by the "church" away, and proclaim an "I told you so" fear further driving a wedge between unbelievers and the One True Jesus Christ?

You will know they are Christians by their Love ...

Hello Governor,
Our tax paying citizens are angry and overwhelmed, and they feel helpless.
Because of Our Mayor, You see the Mayor has this Righteous Idea to put people in Concentration
Camps until they learn to Obey. At least 1/2 of the population of Homeless has Mental health
issues.

The City has mental health services, a mobile mental health services unit, shelter, and
substance abuse programs available that are underutilized or remain empty despite vigorous
outreach.

Included in the statewide actionable policies and programs we request are the following:

• Funding for Teaching Our Police Officers how to deal with Mentally Ill Citizens, Funding for Teaching OUR Mayor How to run a City on less $$$$$
• Readily available and potentially mandatory medically assisted treatment for the addicted in the shelter(s).

• Incentivizing the construction of multi-family and low income housing.

• Ability to enforce illegal camping ordinances with useless fines and incarceration.

• Required mental health treatment for the severely mentally ill, up to and including conservator-ship until such time as the individual has demonstrated the ability to care for themselves including managing their finances. "*illegal Concentration Camps*"

Thank you for your consideration of this important issue.
Sincerely,
J. Hodgson
Concerned Citizen of
City of Redding

You all need to really look at the homeless population. Alot of the homeless have lost there homes due to fires or families lose their jobs and become homeless, there's alot of reasons....not all homeless are on drugs and alcohol. Just down on their luck... shame on all you people.. trying to lock people up because a disaster happened.. and they have no home. And all you people want to degrade them..just think you could be homeless, down on your luck. Do you want someone do disgrace you and treat you bad because you no longer have a home.. alot of you say I got family and friends to help you out. That's wonderful. Alot of people loose everything, and dont have family and friends that are close by. SHAME ON YOU!!!

As with everything the middle ground has been lost. Many homeless are also criminals. Many are mentally ill. Some are displaced due to fires and other circumstances. Requiring 3x rent in income minimum credit scores of 650 means the working poor have a hard time digging out. This situation requires cooperation between the City and County, homeless and mental illness advocates, as well as civil rights. COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION.

Thank you for the beautiful comment ,very well spoken . I myself have been homeless in the past and have been on top of the world and to the depths of places to where thought I would never return . I have never seen or heard so much negativity towards human beings EVER as I have in this county . I grew up in East Oakland ,Bay area , Owned a buisness there for many years , I would think there would be more open minded people like yourself here in this county . We need more like you with compassion and understanding . And just one more thing for th ok so who may read my reply to this person's comment ,I say to you ,if you think you live in such a terrible place ,take a field trip to OAKLAND OR SAN FRANCISCO ,STAY FOR A WEEK OR SO ,DRIVE ROUND ,TAKE A WALK ,LOOK AROUND , THEN GET A NEW ATTITUDE ON LIFE ,BE GRATEFUL ,THANKFUL FOR WHAT YOU ARE BLESSED WITH ,Homelessness is not a crime , imagine if you can , today you read this and tomorrow, BOOM ,what happened ,your homeless? Lost your wife ,home burn down ,lost your job for what tdd ever reason ,COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS PEOPLE ,CAUSE IT HAPPENS !! THANK YOU ANONYMOUS !!

City of Redding Mayor Julie Winter is right about one thing when she says there are about 3,000 homeless people in Shasta County, probably more. Why all the homeless camp raids by Redding police just before the "point in time" homeless survey? Seems to be a year after year pattern.

Julie Winter is a church leader? A church leader who hates poor people? Something is very wrong here

If you are looking for vigilantism against Redding and Shasta County's homeless population look no further than the Redding police department.

Why are they doing such vigorous homeless camp raids just before the Redding and Shasta County " Point in time survey"?

How can we get an accurate count ? I believe like other cities year after year during the freezing cold and wet holidays police are doing sweeps and taking their necessary winter time survival gear that is designed to break their spirit.

Homeless tell of the horrific sex trade going on locally with local law enforcement officials.

It sure does seem that the Good News Rescue Mission, Nor Cal's only homeless shelter is a political subdivision of the City of Redding saying there is no homeless shelter crisis recently on television news.

With 3000 to 4000 homeless in Redding and Shasta County Jonathan Anderson Executive Director of Mission maybe its time to stop beating that tired old worn out drum year after year.

Lives depend on it...

Is the City of Redding looking for a civil rights and constitutional legal battle?

Indeed a Holiday season were Redding and Shasta County homeless experience never before seen levels of criminalization.

Where shade and refuge trees from cruel summer heat are cut down, and every nook and building cranny is fenced off or gated to prevent Redding homeless from taking shelter from freezing wind, snow and blowing rain.

And yes Julie Winter is an elder of Bethel church School and "Supernatural" ministry.

The same Bethel church were bird feathers and gold dust "glory clouds" appear out of the air conditioners...

The Mayor and Bill Johnson and the whole Bethel cult need to be locked up. Bethel is trying to take over Redding and brain wash people to join the cult they are running. They say they can heal people with there hands, well then why have they not healed all the addicted people in Redding? They are all a bunch of wacked out freaks who are using religion to brain wash our town. DONT DRINK THE KOOLADE REDDING!!
