Shasta County Sheriff Deputy Will Gardner Oh, I thought a peaceful day of bottle hunting would be nice, a vacation from the stress of being a homeless advocate. Alas, God had different plans... Some time ago... As we went up to the Holiday Harbor parking lot to find the trail to an old bottle dump known by a friend accompanying me, we ran into the on-site caretaker. He "caretaker" relayed to us that the Sheriff gave him permission to shoot tweakers, "Because im the sheriff." Later, we went down the dirt road and caretaker went over the side. He later yells out "what do you call the bone "between here and here" I told him a "Femur" I compared the bone to my own femur, looks right, and later after studying, I found the human femur head has a bump on the side.   Shasta County Health and Human Services  I worked as a security guard at 1220 Sacramento Street in the downtown Redding Shasta County welfare office. I had a problem with who I should turn in my incident reports into as in my opinion a rather troubled client named "Donny," (not real name) had been swinging a cane dangerously close to my security guard partner.  Several days later this individual Donny was outside yelling and flipping the bird at somebody out in the parking lot. I later saw the fellow Donny was fighting with and individual said Donny "has raped several women in Redding." Next day this same individual was in office when Donny came in and started yelling "this guy is accusing me of rape" which supervisor "Sammy Jo" did an incident report. I told supervisor Athena about the Donny incidents and have been told by "Supervisor Athena" with Supervisor Fawn in Fawns office that "I was to quit investigating Donny" and ...

  It is known that homeless folks who sleep right next to busy lighted roads usually are afraid, fearful that they will be attacked. And of course they hold out on the hope that if they are attacked someone passing by will see and have the compassion to come to their aid. Often times senior citizens and the disabled will tell you juvenile homeless will beat and rob them of anything of value. A homeless man named Marcus , who slept on the sidewalk and bus stop on Cypress Ave. taught me this, having had first hand experience. You may remember Marcus, one of my first photos of him dropped off at the same place he was picked up, with a hospital discharge bag tied to his chair.....minus his ankles and feet. Now another poor soul who has spent years suffering in that same parking lot, bus stop with Marcus is quite possibly taking the same path as Marcus, literally walking in the same Valley of the Shadow of Death.   Officer Bob Brannon, R. P. D. - Henderson Homeless Camp Raids In an area easily accessible to a car or truck at the end of Henderson Road, Redding California Police Sgt. Al Mellon reported Human bones were found 7/25/2012 as police and others were working cleanup of the Henderson Open Space area , south of the Cypress Avenue Bridge. Preliminary information from the lab indicates the bones had been there for "well over a year," he said. Redding Homeless Blog must ask in an area heavely raided and enforced by the Redding Police Department and Officers from the California Department of Fish and Game, no offending odors were ever detected ? Not by law enforcement ? Not by nature hikers ? Not by fisherman ? Not by the homeless ? Not by members of the Henderson Neighborhood Open Space Group who regularly and ruthlessly patrols the area to turn in homeless camps and destroy their basic survival areas without compassion or pity ?
