Redding Justice For Leo Coleman Facebook Group

"The mutilated body of 31 year-old Leo Coleman, Jr. of Redding,
California was found hanging from a tree in the nearby town of Anderson by two teenage boys November 24, 1997.

Police reports document that Officer Ochoa received three separate ' reports from three different people on November 24, that Leo Coleman, Jr. was the victim of hanging by adherents of so-called "white pride" elements in the local community. On the day after Leo, Jr.'s death was reported, someone made a drawing of a hanging man and put it on Bobbi Culver, Leo, Jr.''s girlfriend's, front door.

There is a tremendous push to stop drawing attention to this gruesome murder and those that are trying to reopen this cold case that never got the investigative attention it deserved.

Miracles can happen, cases like this after all these years can be solved. There is NO statute of limitations when in comes to what so many believe now is MURDER !·

This group is dedicated to shining the light on the murder / torture / mutilation / hanging of this young black man with the intent of reopening this brutal unsolved Shasta County case and bringing justice to Leo Coleman.

Chico - Northern California Homeless Hatred

"Chico City Council Fueled Hate Crimes And Bigotry"

R-Town armed private guards roaming downtown removing homeless and giving them tickets for the crime of sitting or laying down ? Sub standard law enforcement hired for a perceived sub standard lower class of homeless American citizenry somehow devoid of the civil and constitutional rights and freedoms we all enjoy ?

Chico California has a homeless shelter crisis, and the local chapter of the ACLU agrees.

Downtown merchants allegedly threatening to "hose " homeless off the streets and sidewalks returning to the days of Birmingham and Martin Luther King with what seems like a stamp of approval from the City Council granting what can only be described as spiritual oppression, and a clear message of homeless having no right to exist.

And in of all places Chico California ?

Life on the Streets of Chico

"There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men."

Proverbs 30:14

Please meet Arturo, 96 years old, homeless.
"Life on the streets of Chico and Beyond"

"Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?"

James 2:5

Chico Peace and Justice Center

"On armed guards and impoverished citizens"

“Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?"

Isaiah 58:6-7

Man charged for solicitation proclaiming the Gospel at Redding Walmart

Shirlyn Pappas and Laurence Schmahll pose with offending scriptures after his court victory.

In a case sure to have local religious freedom advocates abuzz a man was charged by Redding California Police Department for holding a sign by the road in the Walmart area.

The sign did not ask
for money, or state that he would work for food, but contained Bible verses which the man was charged for of all things soliciting.

Laurence Schmahll stated that he received a ticket from Redding Police Officer "Marks, badge number 183" for the dastardly Christian crime of displaying two Bible verses in public written down on cardboard.

Fortunately for Mr. Schmahll the case was taken up by Redding attorney Timothy Pappas and Pacific Justice Institute , a non-profit 501(c)(3) legal defense organization specializing in the defense of religious freedom, parental rights, and other civil liberties.

Of course with Mr Pappas's legal council the case was quickly thrown out of the Shasta County courtroom.

Now that homelessness is a crime in Redding and Shasta County it is good to see that so far Christian evangelism is not.
